It's going to be a scorcher!

Temperatures are set to reach up to 25C over the Easter weekend.

Forecasters say after highs of 21C yesterday, it will be warmer today and as high as 25C tomorrow and Saturday - allowing us to bask in the hottest Easter weekend since 1984, when temperatures reached 26C.

While tourists on the Costas are experiencing heavy spring downpours, those spending Easter at home can expect the rain to hold off for at least the next three days.

The AA is warning up to 18million drivers will cause traffic jams throughout the weekend, particularly on Monday. Forecasters say it will cool on Easter Sunday and Monday, with a possibility of some rain in London and the South-East.
