Sold: The Piccadilly Estate will be restored to its former glory

One of the West End's property eyesores may be restored to glory after the former In & Out club building in Piccadilly was sold in a £130 million deal.

The Reuben brothers have bought the Piccadilly Estate - a group of six run-down buildings near Hyde Park Corner - out of receivership. The most famous of the buildings is 94 Piccadilly, once home to the Naval & Military Club whose labelled gate posts caused it to be known as the In & Out club.

Estate agents told Property Week magazine that visitors' feet sometimes broke through rotting floors as they were being shown around the buildings.
