Guess who's out on Valentine's Day?

12 April 2012

If your first love is science fiction, then forget about pampering your partner tomorrow and indulge in some Dr Who. From noon on Valentine's Day, the BBC will begin its drama series commissioned solely for the Internet with the first of 12 weekly episodes of Dr Who: Death Comes To Time.

Dr Who is the longest running sci-fi series in the world, and the new Web series should appeal to fans. Fusing comic-strip animation with audio-drama, a top-rate cast has been brought in to do the voices and bring the fantasy back to life.

Stephen Fry lends his vocal talents to the Minister Of Chance, an old Time Lord friend of the Doctor, voiced by Sylvester McCoy. John Sessions adds meat to the sandwich in his role as General Tannis, a warlord bent on intergalactic conquest.
