Fund manager sells Persimmon

A TOP fund manager appears to have lost faith in housebuilder Persimmon. AAA-rated Tony Willis of Lazard sold 477,000 shares at the end of September and the start of October from the holding of his Lazard UK Alpha unit trust to close its position.

Persimmon's shares have performed strongly over the past year, boosted by the buoyant UK housing market.
