Freed: racist who slapped black woman

A commuter who slapped a pregnant woman on the back of the head because she was black has walked free from court.
Nasir Ali, 25, lashed out at Chancelvie Njoy, who was seven months pregnant, as she waited with her boyfriend at Ilford station on April 21.
The couple tried to ignore Ali, but when they turned away he hit Miss Njoy, Snaresbrook crown court heard.
Ali, of Ilford, admitted racially aggravated assault. He was given a six-month community supervision order and a six-month Tube ban.
