EasyJet's growth rate slackens

THE rate of growth at easyJet is slowing as the boom in the budget airline market, which saw it take over Go in the summer, begins to slow. The airline carried 1.63m passengers in October, a like-for-like rise of 43% on a year ago. But that compares with annualised growth of 47% in August and September and is well off pro-forma growth of 60% in July, the last month before the airlines were merged.
