Driver quizzed over police chase death crash

A motorist was being questioned by police today on suspicion of crashing into and killing a husband and wife during a high-speed police pursuit in Reading.
The driver jumped a set of red lights before accelerating away from officers patrolling in a marked car at 11.18 last night.
Following a short chase, the speeding Ford Mondeo ploughed into the back of a hatchback, killing the two occupants. Police are yet to name the couple.
