Downgrades warning for Korea banks

CREDIT rating agency Standard & Poor's warned today over South Korean banks heavily exposed to the troubled credit card sector.

'The extent of problems caused by Korea's credit card binge is larger than publicly recognised and individual downgrades cannot be ruled out, the agency said.
