Marriage: Demi and Ashton

Demi Moore plans to wed her toyboy Ashton Kutcher in a lavish ceremony in Las Vegas - where she tied the knot with ex-husband Bruce Willis.

And she wants her former husband to walk her down the aisle, according to reports yesterday.

Kutcher, 25, proposed to the 40-year-old mother-of-three only after getting his own mother's approval.

He told a friend: 'It's official. I got down on one knee to propose to Demi and she said, "yes".

'We were both so happy, we had tears in our eyes.'

Before popping the question, Kutcher took the Charlie's Angels star home to meet his family in Iowa. 'Ashton already knew he wanted Demi to be his wife but to have his mother's approval was very important to him,' said a friend.

Kutcher's mother, Diane Portwood, confirmed she got on 'like a house on fire' with the Hollywood legend. 'We sat and talked about her kids, and my kids, and we had a great time,' she told Globe magazine in the US.

Insiders say the couple will spend £600,000 on a wedding with 120 guests at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas - possibly on St Valentine's Day.

The friend added: 'He'll want his twin brother Michael to be best man. And don't be surprised to see Bruce giving the bride away.'
