D-Day on BA holiday strike

Union chiefs representing British Airways check-in staff were meeting today to decide when and where to strike - with the August Bank holiday top of list.

The GMB union will also debate whether they hold 24- or 48-hour stoppages and if they should be at just Heathrow and Gatwick, or across the UK.

The move follows the latest breakdown in talks over pay. BA said it was hopeful of resolving the row.
