Chelsea Pensioners’ records go online

Military records of more than 1.5million Chelsea Pensioners go online today, covering more than two centuries of soldiers who fought in wars including the Crimean and Boer, and at the Battle of Waterloo.

The archive, which includes all those given a pension through the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, is at findmypast.co.uk
