Chef remanded on murder charge

A chef appeared at the Old Bailey today accused of killing a 30-year-old woman.
Adam Mann, 28, of Springfield Road, Welling, Kent, pleaded not guilty to murdering Lisa Beverley.
Mann was remanded in custody by videolink to face trial in May next year.
Emergency services were called to Coupland Place in Plumstead, south London, at just after 6am on September 16 and discovered the body of Miss Beverley.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as head injuries
