THE Crown has recommended that corruption charges against Wessex Water chairman and chief executive Colin Skellett should be dropped. The Fraud Squad is satisfied no criminal offences occurred when he received £1m from YTL of Malaysia as it bought Wessex from a subsidiary of Enron.
