Briton charged over street riot

A British designer is among eight foreigners and 22 Greeks charged with involvement in street riots which marred the end of the EU summit in Greece over the weekend, police said today.

He was named as Simon Chapman, 30, from Basildon. Charges include possession of arms, arson and damaging property.
