BP turns its back on Malaysia

BP is putting its 240 petrol stations in Malaysia on the auction block in a deal that could be worth up to 1bn ringitt (£145m). The oil giant wants to pull out of the country after 40 years as it has failed to build a market-leading presence. It is also selling 30 petrol stations in Singapore.
