Don't know your Vitamin E from your elbow? Here's some definitions to help you along.

Anti-Oxidants These 'mop up' free radicals (very dangerous little chemicals that come from bad things such as cigarette smoke and pollution) and keep you healthy. Top anti-oxidants are Vitamins A, C, E and beta-carotene.

Collagen Makes up 75 per cent of our skin, helps wounds to heal and 'glues' broken bones back together. In cosmetics, it can help keep skin moist and elastic (ie young).

SPF This stands for Sun Protection Factor and is a measure of how long you can stay in the sun without burning. For instance, if you begin to tan or burn after 10mins, an SPF of 15 extends your protection 15 times longer.
