'Body-under-bed' killer faces life

A minicab firm boss who strangled his receptionist and hid her body under his bed for two weeks faces a life sentence after being convicted of murder at the Old Bailey.
Raphael Lopez, 45, attacked Claire Drummond, 20, after their affair turned sour. Her rotting corpse was found by police wrapped in a duvet under his bed - yards from where she had been killed - after a neighbour reported a foul stench.
Lopez murdered her after a row last August while he was living at his sister's home in Plumstead, the court heard.
She was found after another boyfriend reported her missing. Lopez, who ran a Tottenham cab firm, denied murder but a jury unanimously found him guilty.
He will be sentenced next month.
