AWG's vehicle leasing arm sold

AWG continued its clearout of unwanted businesses today by selling its Powermarque vehicle leasing business to fleet management group Venson for £18.9m.

The majority of Powermarque's 4,000-strong fleet is leased to AWG's utility services and Anglian Water businesses. Powermarque is not now regarded as a core business.
