Analysts questioned WorldCom credit

CREDIT analysts at some of the financial services firms that led a $12bn (£6.5bn) bond issue for WorldCom in May 2001 expressed concern about its credit only months before their firms participated in the issue, court papers in a lawsuit over the bonds show.

JP Morgan Chase analysts, for example, downgraded WorldCom in February 2001.
