Taste of London festive edition 2016: Tobacco Dock plays host to a Christmas foodie paradise this November

The Taste of London festive edition is back to bring Christmas foodie cheer to east London's Tobacco Dock. From the capital's best restaurants offering delicious tasters to artisan independent retailers showcasing delightful Christmas gifts, it's the perfect place to embrace the festive spirit...

Returning to Tobacco Dock from Thursday 17 November to Sunday 20 November, the Taste Of London festive edition will feature 21 of the capital's top restaurants, transforming east London into a foodie Christmas paradise.

Londoners will be able to try taster-size portions from their favourite restaurants, with dishes ranging from the winter warmers to the indulgent.

Hot dog connoisseurs Bubbledogs are offering a special 'Santa's Sausage' featuring Christmas stuffing with cranberry chutney and crispy parsnips.

While Michelin starred chef Tom Aikens' restaurant Tom's Kitchen will be offering visitors a decadent truffle mac and cheese.

Spanish Jose Pizarro's sweet choice consists of a chocolate pot drizzled with olive oil and salt.

A variety of top London restaurants will be offering special taster dishes 

This year, UK chefs such as Tom Kerridge, Angela Hartnett and Cyrus Todiwala will be battling it out in the AEG Taste Theatre. Each chef will put their own twist on Christmas classics before the audience decide the winner.

Plus, free cooking classes will be offered at AEG Take Taste Further, where Jeremy Pang from the School of Wok will be showcasing Asian-inspired dishes and Steve Brown, Daylesford Cookery School, will be showing visitors how to create the perfect Christmas feast.

For drinks, head to the new Craft Beer Trail to sample some of the UK's best craft beer, and learn about the brewing process.

But for those who prefer something with more fizz, The Champagne Laurent-Perrier Club House is the place to enjoy a glass of bubbles.

Over a 100 different artisan food sellers will be offering great Christmas present ideas

Over a 100 different artisan brands will be offering Christmas shopping inspiration.

Gin experts Sipsmith, south London brewers Gipsy Hill Brewing Co and Letter Box Hamper are among the brands setting up shop.

Tickets start from £15 and can be purchased here. Most dishes will cost £4-£6, but the special Icon dishes will cost more.
