Supermodel Heidi Klum has bought a New York apartment in this handsome block for £3.6 million.
The America’s Got Talent judge snapped up a big penthouse loft in need of total renovation.
The 5,000sq ft former art studio with 12ft ceilings has been stripped of everything but the original wood beams and columns, so Klum and her architect face the challenge of carving out rooms.
The star has the option of purchasing roof rights for a private terrace. This doer-upper is not the usual glossy celebrity purchase. Klum clearly likes a project.
