Simon Cowell plans to leave star-studded Holland Park for Wimbledon.

The X Factor mogul reportedly spent £15 million on a new home to be nearer a school for his four-year-old son Eric — although a spokesman for Cowell and partner Lauren Silverman says the couple just happen to like the area a lot and haven’t yet made a decision on schools.

Another Wimbledon home said to have interested them is The Grange, close to the common, by architect Sir Aston Webb (1849-1930), who also designed the façade of Buckingham Palace.

With eight bedrooms and an indoor pool, it is for sale with Robert Holmes & Co, price on application.
