New London house price figures reveal the capital's top 10 prime boroughs

The latest Land Registry figures reveal the top 10 most expensive boroughs to buy a home in London, highlighting the continued eastward spread of prime central London. The London borough of Lambeth, taking in areas such as Streatham, Brixton, Vauxhall, Clapham and West Norwood, has recorded the biggest annual rise in house prices of the top 10, while for the second consecutive month, Hackney has seen the steepest monthly rise, with prices up by 2.1 per cent.
