Antonio Rudiger returns to Frank Lampard's defence as Chelsea fan Lille in a Champions League decider at Stamford Bridge.

Rudiger makes only his second appeatance since April 28 as Lampard gambles on the 26-year-old's ability to solve Chelsea's defensive issues.

With Fikayo Tomori out with a hip problem, the decision to pick Rudiger (alongside Kurt Zouma) was made easier for Lampard despite the German suffering knee and groin injuries this season.

Elsewhere, Reece James drops to the bench with Cesar Azpilicueta and Emerson Palmieri the preferred wing-backs.

N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic form a three-man midfield, with William, Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic in attack.

Chelsea lineup: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Zouma, Emerson; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Abraham, Pulisic

Subs: Caballero, Christensen, Barkley, Mount, Hudson-Odoi, Batshuayi, James
