Miley Cyrus has splashed out £4.5 million on a 33-acre farm in Williamson County, Tennessee.

The sprawling estate includes a 6,869sq ft grand house with five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a three-car garage.

There’s a barn-sized living room stretching more than 30ft, with exposed wood beams and a cosy fireplace built in between bookshelves. Continuing the rustic look, the country farmhouse-style kitchen has a huge cooker and centre island with bar stools.

American pop singer-songwriter Cyrus, 24, was born in the area and went to school in Williamson County, so her new house has sentimental value.

Last year, she bought a £1.9 million two-acre estate in a gated enclave above Paradise Point in Malibu, California, next door to the home owned by her fiancé, the Australian TV actor Liam Hemsworth.
