Author and journalist Neil Forsyth is selling his West Sussex home. Famed for his comedy writing including the BBC sitcom Bob Servant, starring Brian Cox, Forsyth has listed the Georgian house for £695,000.

The property was once owned by film actor Michael Trubshawe, best known for his roles in Bedazzled and The Lavender Hill Mob.

Fellow British actor David Niven, who appeared with Trubshawe in The Pink Panther movie, was a good friend and stayed regularly at the four-bedroom house in the Seventies.

For sale through Peter Hughes, it has recently been spruced up and comes with a secluded garden (pictures below).

It’s in the village of Kirdford and nearby Horsham station is less than an hour’s train trip from London Victoria.
