La Mese Della Donna: Polpo are celebrating women in partnership with Refuge
Ailis Brennan9 March 2018

International Women’s Day may be over but spirit continues all month at Italian restaurant group Polpo, where a series of events throughout March are running in partnership with UK charity Refuge.

Celebrating “La Mese Della Donna” – Women’s Month to non-Italian speakers – Polpo are running three dinners in support of the charity, which helps women and children experiencing violence and domestic abuse.

You can head down to Polpo’s Brighton location on March 18 for a Venetian feast, or if you want to keep it local, the original Soho site will be hosting the next two events.

On March 21, a wine tasting dinner in the restaurant’s Campari bar will run in collaboration with Shoreditch wine bar and shop Passione Vino. To round off the month a dinner at Polpo Soho on March 28 will feature a talk from Lisa King of Refuge, who will discuss the charity’s work and issues affecting women.

Tickets are £35 per person for a set menu and glass of prosecco, available from polpo.co.uk
