Auction Against Hunger, a one-night charity food festival featuring some of London’s best chefs and street vendors, is set to return to London’s Borough Market later this year.

On September 25, ticket holders will be able to get a taste of food from the likes of Lyle’s chef James Lowe, Sabor’s Nieves Barragán Mochacho, Adam Handling of The Frog, Anna Hansen of The Modern Pantry, M Restaurants’ Michael Reid and Chantelle Nicholson of Tredwell’s.

Now in its sixth year, the event looks to raise money for Action Against Hunger, a global humanitarian organisation which acts to alleviate hunger around the world. Since its first event, Action Against Hunger has raised more than half a million pounds.

As well as trying up to seven dishes and five drinks from the line up, there's also a chance to take part in either a live or silent auction hosted by Mere chef and Masterchef judge Monica Galetti, and be in with a chance of winning a range of food and drink experiences.

As well as dishes from well known chefs, guests can also try food from restaurants and traders including Smokestak, Hakkasan, Breddos Tacos, Horn OK Please and The Begging Bowl.

Auction Against Hunger will take place on September 25 at Borough Market. Tickets are £60 per person and can be purchased at eventbrite.co.uk
