A pretty definition of “dirty”: crabmeat fries at Prawnography

1. At Molé Taco Bar near Selfridges, braised oxtail, blackberry crema, shaved lettuce, red amaranth tacos plus revelatory guacamole served with love. This new Mexican restaurant is worth noting.

2. After a romping, rollicking performance of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in Regent’s Park, charcoal grilled ordikia (quails) at Lemonia. Bless their beautiful hides.

3. My first grouse of the season at The Colony Grill in The Beaumont hotel, where I had a blissful sleepover with my elder daughter Hannah. Great spa with hammam too.

4. A prettier definition of “dirty” — crabmeat fries with Thousand Island dressing at Prawnography on Old Street (aka Magic) Roundabout.

5. Chef Tong Chee Hwee leads the kitchen at Yauatcha City, Broadgate Circle, where prawn and beancurd cheung fun is one of many exemplary dim sum. Absolute bargain: eight dim sum, £28.88 for two, from 3pm-6pm Mon-Wed.
