Fifty of London’s most influential food Instagrammers will embark on a food trail around the capital tomorrow, Saturday September 17.

The event will be hosted by @London along with its food editor and all-round foodie influencer @ClerkenwelloyEC1, and Instagrammers from around the world are invited to join them via the site.

Named #MarketToMichelin, the day has been designed to take in the best of London’s food. It will begin with a short photography masterclass followed by a look at the abundant produce of Borough Market, a luxurious afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason, a trip to the buzzy street food scene at Kerb in Camden Market, and finally a visit to Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen.

At the restaurant, the social media set will prepare hampers and gifts of food to give away to the homeless in partnership with Shelter and the @DoSomethingForNothing team, which runs altruism campaigns centred on acts of random kindness and became famous for providing hairdressing for the homeless.

The day will kick off at 9am and culminate at Fifteen at 5pm. Keep an eye on #MarketToMichelin to follow the goings-on.
