Burger & Lobster are serving oysters, caviar and champagne to guests in bed

If you thought breakfast in bed was a treat, this London restaurant has stepped it up a notch.

Burger & Lobster are offering guests the chance to tuck into indulgent treats such as caviar, lobster and oysters while lounging in a £3,000 gold four poster bed (complete with fur sheets), installed in their Soho restaurant.

The extravagant dinner experience will run from Monday 15 October for two weeks, with 42 places up for grabs.

Guests will be showered with chilled champagne on arrival, before tucking into their dinner fit for a king.

The three-course meal will consist of banquet platter to start, featuring oysters, crab, prawns and lobster croquettes, followed by a main course of either lobster or a black caviar burger, with black truffle and parmesan chips. A New York cheesecake will round things off at the end of the dinner.

For the most authentic experience possible, the restaurant will also provide custom silk pyjamas.

Anyone wanting to get involved with the decadent and wildly over-the-top experience, will have to cough up £130 for two or £260 for a party of four.
