Australia: home of koalas, kangaroos, crocodile dundee, and of course, the Tim Tam.

A Tim what, we hear you ask? A Tim Tam. A glorious cakey biscuit drizzled in three orgasmic layers of milk chocolate. If you've never had one, imagine a Penguin bar, but ten times better.

To celebrate all things Tim Tam and Australia Day, dough legends Crosstown Doughnuts have created the Lamnut, a glorious Tim Tam cake mashup of absolute epicness.

Filled with a chocolate custard made from Tim Tams and topped with a Tim Tam milk chocolate ganache and Tim Tam pieces, the £3.50 heavenly sourghdough ball is only available for two days from all Crosstown locations on January 26 and 27 and can be pre-ordered online now.

Oh, and if you work anywhere near Fitzrovia, you'll be pleased to know that a brand spanking new branch of the dessert mecca is opening in the area on Monday January 22 . And yes, they are giving away free doughtnuts to honour the momentous occasion, too.

We don't know about you, but we're frothing at the mouth.

Crosstown Fitzrovia will be at 13 Newman Street London W1T 1PB. For more information and to pre-order a Lamnut, visit Crosstown's website.
