Food bowls have become somewhat of an Instagram phenomenon over recent years, so naturally, a restaurant solely dedicated to serving food in bowls is coming to London.

The niche restaurant, aptly titled Bowls, is set to launch in St Anne’s Court, Soho, replacing Billy and the Chicks.

Russian chef and TV presenter Zarifa Ragimova is the brains behind the new Soho spot.

Bowls will be the first restaurant from Ragimova, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London before working at London spots including Soho favourite Rambla.

The all-day menu will offer breakfast dishes including acai bowls and smoothie bowls, followed by South American, Caribbean and Asian dishes later in the day. It appears there's little connecting the food aside from how it's served.

Chicken-lovers need fear not, as Billy and the Chicks are expecting to relocate to another site, though no details have been confirmed so far.

An opening date for Bowls is yet to be announced but the restaurant will sit alongside Soho favourites Barrafina, Quo Vadis and Pizza Pilgrims.
