A Bite out in London – Electric Brasserie in Notting Hill

Trendy hotspot: Electric Brasserie is a great place to catch up with friends
10 April 2012

For busy foodies on a budget, Notting Hill Brasserie is a good choice...

What to expect
This busy brasserie is in the heart of Notting Hill. A great place for meeting up with a group of friends in a laid-back, friendly environment. Be it tapas or a three course dinner, there is plenty on offer at this trendy hotspot.

Hot dishes
For starters try the hot buttered prawns. Keeping it traditional, the fish & chips with mushy peas is a popular main course or you could swap cod for lobster if you feel like splashing out. Meat eaters will enjoy the steak frites. For pudding try the chocolate fudge brownie with pistachio ice cream. A sweet tooth is essential for this one.

Drink Up
The recently revamped cocktail list has some delicious drinks on the menu. On a hot day try the Apple Berry Cooler - Hendrick's gin with apple schnapps, blackberry & fresh apple juice. A decent wine list is also available.

Ambience
Fun and relaxed, this restaurant doesn't take itself too seriously. Just the spot for a good natter.

Where to find it
In the middle of Portebello Road, next door to the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill.
