Get travel inspiration from your taste buds at these new supper clubs around London

Solo travelling expert Flash Pack is organising supper clubs around London for single people seeking adventure

Solo travellers now have the opportunity to meet like-minded people at specially tailored supper clubs around London.

Travel company with a difference, Flash Pack, organises adventure holidays for solo travellers, and has now expanded its ‘Mini Experiences’ to include supper clubs where those using the site can get a taste of the country they’re travelling to and meet some fellow adventurers before setting off.

Lee Thompson, co-founder of Flash Pack, said: “Our new supper clubs let the taste buds lead the way in choosing your next adventure holiday hot spot.

“We’re the only group adventure company offering the chance to meet other travellers before you go away in a group together.”

Thompson added: “There’s no ‘hard-sell’ to buy a holiday and no commitment to travel.

“Simply put, they are a great way to meet people like you, away from the pressures of dating or singles sites and apps: not every person you get to know when you’re single needs to be a potential date, they can be a potential travel buddy instead.”

THE FLASH PACK

The Standard recently attended one such evening in New Cross, south east London, for a Filipino feast hosted by The Adobros, Mike and Mark Corbyn.

The event took place in the brothers’ living room, where we were greeted with a cocktail and treated to four courses made from secret family recipes, as well as copious amounts of wine.

All the guests were female, and according to the Flash Pack website women make up 60 per cent of users. Some were planning to attend an upcoming Flash Pack trip to the Philippines; all were keen to meet like-minded 30- and 40-somethings.
