From the people behind the pop-up dining experience which ran during Frieze in the Old Vic Tunnels is a new event running for the rest of May and June called Italians Do It Better organised by Pret a Diner.

The race is on for a team of Italian chefs to prove that they can make a series of innovative dinners in London. Georgio Locatelli has challenged five other Michelin starred Italian chefs called Accursio Craparo, Cristian and Manuel Costardi, Norbert Niederkofler and Viviana Varese to come up with a new Italian concept dish. This week it’s Locatelli v Nierderkofler.

There will be an Italian art gallery, a boutique and a bar with cocktails from Tony Conigliaro’s 69 Colebrooke Row and it all takes place at 50 St James’s Street until June 30. Book at pretadiner.com or direct by emailing federica@number50.co.uk
