What: Aspire cranberry flavour calorie burning soft drink (£1.75)

Where from: Holland & Barrett stores, hollandandbarrett.com

Tester’s taste assessment: It’s supposed to be "an infusion of natural ingredients", but the high caffeine content suggests otherwise. It tastes like they’ve tried to disguise acrid Red Bull with some sort of herbal flavouring which definitely isn’t reminiscent of cranberry - perhaps it’s the green tea... Finishing the can gave me a bit of a stomach ache and the stale aftertaste stayed in the back of my throat. Definitely not a fan.
