The staff here are attentive and helpful, and especially accommodating to families over the weekend. In the dining room, found past the elegant front room and outside terrace, you’ll find an urbane selection of seafood, steak and game dishes being served, complimented by a comprehensive wine list.

It’s not all about the dining experience though: there’s a solid selection of craft ales on cask, and the back corridor is a relaxing spot to enjoy a quiet and reflective drink too.
