Autumn Falls at Bermondsey Arts Club

What: Yes, you have got the right place, it isn't still a public lavatory. Escape chilly nights in this Art Deco drinking den with a live jazz soundtrack if you visit on a Wednesday. Order an Autumn Falls: Armagnac, Clement, Chocolate Bitters and cider reduction, with a stick of cinnamon, cloves and star anise.

Tooting Treacle at Little Bar

What: You don't get many cosier bars than this tiny neighbourhood drinking den in Tooting. Take a seat at the bar and ask for a Tooting Treacle: a rum-based take on an Old Fashioned, made with Gosling's Dark Seal rum, Angostura bitters and cloudy apple juice.

Blood at Oblix

What: Thirty-two floors up the Shard, Oblix will be mixing a seasonal punch made by slow-cooking spiced red wine in hibiscus and cinnamon and mixed with Zacapa 23-year-old rum and Tanqueray gin. They've also launched a new menu in the bar and we've got our eye on the ricotta, chanterelle and pecorino gnudi.

Autumn at Duck & Waffle

What: Duck & Waffle's head bartender Rich has been working on some new autumn cocktails, and I like the sound of the aptly named Autumn, which is composed of whisky, pear, walnut, cola, amaro (an Italian herbal liqueur) and a touch of rosemary.

Find it: Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsgate, EC2N 4AY; duckandwaffle.com
