The Shakespeare’s Head

This 18th-century pub, originally owned by distant relatives of the Bard, has a buzzing atmosphere and some great beers on tap.

Hip, edgy, modern — head to Hoxton for an alternative way to celebrate the Bard’s birth at this lively party pub and venue. There are also lots of music acts on offer.

Shakespeare himself is said to have drunk at this historic and beautiful galleried coaching inn. In fact, it’s the very last in London.
