Soho gentlemen's club The Windmill to host World Cup 2018 parties

Football fever: The Soho venue will show World Cup games this month

Legendary Soho gentleman's club The Windmill is preparing a series of events around the 2018 World Cup finals.

The venue will open two hours earlier than usual between June 14 and July 15, meaning punters can enjoy games from 7pm onwards at the Great Windmill Street venue.

The Windmill is open from Monday to Saturday and England’s games against Tunisia (7pm on June 18) and Belgium (7pm on June 28) will be shown in the venue.

“We're offering the business community and our VIP clients the opportunity to enjoy the World Cup in a venue that's truly unique,” owner Daniel Owide said.

“Of course guests are also welcome to stay after the games to watch the performances by our beautiful dancers until 5.30am."

The gentlemen's club was immortalised in the 2005 movie Mrs Henderson Presents, starring Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins.
