Secret Cinema does 28 Days Later: Tickets on sale

Tickets for the latest Secret Cinema event go on sale today, March 3, at 1pm.

Danny Boyle’s cult thriller 28 Days Later is the next film to be given the full immersive treatment, which be screened at a secret location in London. There will also be a sister event in another UK city, although details of where are yet to be released. Writing on the their Facebook wall, Secret Cinema told fans to “Look out for clues on buildings around you”.

Tickets, which cost £64.50 plus booking fee for adults, will be available at secretcinema.org. VIP tickets cost £129 plus booking fee.

Taking on 28 Days Later marks the group’s first foray into horror films. The low-budget post-apocalyptic thriller follows the story of Jim (Cillian Murphy) as he struggles to survive in a London shattered by the spread of a destructive virus that has turned the population into the rabid, rage-filled undead.

“Secret Cinema’s expansion over the last nine years has been remarkable, we’ve now created experiences in New York and Berlin, as well as the many in London. But this will be a turning point for us as we embark upon our very first UK nationwide production.”

Secret Cinema does 28 Days Later will run from April 14 – May 29.
