The Red Bull Flugtag makes a welcome return to London's Hyde Park on Saturday 7th June 2008 when 40 teams of fearless inventors will compete for the coveted winner's prize by designing, constructing and flying their man-powered

Pronounced "Floog-tag", and translated as "flying day", the event first came to Hyde Park in 2003, drawing record-breaking crowds.

The winning team will be the one that not only flies the furthest, but also impresses the judges and crowd with their pre-flight performance and displays the best design and originality in their flying machine and team.

80,000 ticket holders will converge for the event, throwing their support behind teams from all over the UK.

Anyone can enter a team, as long as entrants are aged over 16 and can convince three of their friends that it's worth jumping off a 20ft high ramp into the cold waters of The Serpentine!

Tickets are free and distributed on a ballot basis. To find out more details on how to enter a team and to download an application form simply go to www.redbullflugtag.co.uk.
