You know Christmas is coming when Regent Street becomes a sea of billions of sparkly, glowing lights.

This year, the shopping mecca will be home to precisely 300,000 twinkling LED lights, inspired by the Spirit of Christmas – presents and booze, basically. And yes, those massive 'grammable beautiful angels are back to usher in the most wonderful time of the year, too.

The big switch-on event is set for Thursday November 16 and will start at precisely 6pm.

Special guests include the likes of Paloma Faith, Clean Bandit, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, and the whole dazzling spectacle will be presented by Baby Spice Emma Bunton and Jamie Theakston.

In addition to all the celebs and lights, the shops, restaurants and hotels that line the street will be offering tons of exclusive treats, offers and surprises to the people of London.
