The British public are about to be left devastated yet again as Love Island is snatched from our screens this week.

The nation’s hearts have already been shattered once this summer with the emotional World Cup exit, but the show's end will bring another crushing blow.

The Love Island final airs on Monday July 30, a date that’s been pencilled in by any loyal fan of the show - and it’s going to be emotional.

It’s been a bumper of a season and if (like the majority of the nation) you’ve chosen to stay in and watch every episode instead of sunning yourself in the British heatwave then why stop now?

Don’t be a melt and watch at home. Get down to one of these London screenings and watch Jack and Dani take the crown. Well come on, who else is it going to be?

Boxpark

Peng sort of venue: Croydon's Boxpark

This drinking hot spot is having a bumper of a party to celebrate the final episode. To get people in the mood, the resident DJ Nadia Jae will be on the decks blasting love anthems from 7pm. Organisers have hinted a few special guests may be appearing too, although they are remaining tight-lipped on the details. Pre-registration tickets have sold out but there’s still plenty available on the door, just be sure to get there early to get a seat.

There’s also a champagne and cocktail hour running from 5-8pm where cocktails are a fiver. No screening would be complete without snacks, which is just as well because the venue will be handing out complimentary popcorn on the night.

Other celebs at the event include 2017 finalist Marcel Somervile as well as Max George from The Wanted and breakfast show hosts Roman Kemp, Vick Hope and Sonny Jay will also be there. Tickets to the public may have sold out but there's a handful of tickets left that can be won by listening to the show on Monday morning. Proceeds from the party will go to Global's Make Some Noise.
