Thai BBQ: Som Saa at Climpsons Arch

The Swedish Christmas Restaurant and Bar

What better use for the old Guardian Media building in Farringdon than a Skandilicious food hub? Drink Glogg and scoff from a Julbord, the Christmas version of a Smörgåsbord, featuring gravlax, Swedish meatballs and a variety of herrings. Post-meal, there is the Loft Bar, with seasonal cocktails that promise to make life “a bit Sweder”.

The Fat Bear

South American fare is the order of the day here. Think hearty gumbo, fish tacos, clam chowder with piles of cornbread and ice cream sandwiches for dessert.

The Cake & Cocktail Club’s Dessert Supper Club

A three-course meal comprised solely of desserts. Pastry chef Olivia Zampi is in charge of the baked goods and Shaker & Company are pairing them with cocktails.

The Wild Game Co Pop-Up

A taste of Scotland in central London courtesy of Andy Waugh and his clan of kilt-wearing chefs. All meat comes from Waugh’s family game business in the Highlands and he knows just how to prepare it. Try the Veni-Moo Burger, Stovies or, for veggies, wholesome squash and broccoli.

Papi’s Pickles

A South Indian and Sri Lankan feast at Well Street Kitchen. It’s ethical too — Papi’s Pickles works with unemployed women to help then have a fairer future.

North and north eastern Thai food comes to the coffee roastery arch courtesy of top chefs Andy Oliver and Tom George. For brunch there are Chinese doughnuts and Thai coffee developed with Climpson and Sons.

Forza Winter

This winter, Bash and his boys are bringing their fonduta party to Peckham. Expect five courses of Italian classics like porcini arancini, raddichio, squashes and hams as well as a great communal pot of sizzling fonduta for dipping and dunking.
