Bringing together 100 leading galleries, the London Art Fair is the largest modern British and contemporary art showcase in the UK.

Held at Islington's Business Design Centre, the five day fair celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2008.

Designed to accommodate every level of collector, visitors will find pieces ranging from £500,000 to £50 on sale at the fair.

Work by early influential figures such as Elizabeth Frink, Terry Frost and LS Lowry will be displayed, alongside living artists like Marilène Oliver, Tim Noble and Banksy.

A charity auction will be held at the fair's preview evening (15 Jan) to raise money for the Terrence Higgins Trust. Artists including Tracey Emin, Mario Testino and Wolfgang Tillmans have all donated work in support of the charity.
