La Soirée to bring weird and wonderful acts to South Bank

Whet your appetite: David O'Mer will be doing his signature hair flick
5 April 2012

With its punch and pizazz, La Clique raised the bar for cabaret during last year's run at the Hippodrome.

Since its departure there has been a void in London's burlesque scene that La Soirée is hoping to fill.

A fabulous line-up of world-renowned artists including Captain Frodo, The English Gents, David O'Mer (Bath Boy) and Miss Behave will be bringing their weird and wonderful acts back to London.

This year they will conduct proceedings in the exquisite Magic Mirrors – an auditorium of carved wood, polished mirrors, crystal and leadlight – which will be in the capital for the very first time on the South Bank.

Reviving the passion, heart, style and good old-fashioned showmanship that made them London favourites, La Soirée's team is raring to go.
