Jackmaster, Greg Wilson and Madam X will play in a copper mountain for a pop-up music event

Music mayhem: The structure will host the event

A 50ft high copper mountain – complete with real snow and a babbling brook – has been built to host a pop-up music event in an east London park.

The huge hollow structure includes a hidden cavern bar and boasts a giant 20ft slide down to its dancefloor area.

The KopparMountain is modelled on the peak located in the Swedish town of Kopperberg – which translates literally as ‘copper mountain’. The cider manufacturer of the same name is putting on the event.

DJs including Jackmaster, Greg Wilson and Madam X will spin the decks from the sculpture, which took nearly five days to erect from hand-painted copper sheeting at Mudchute Park and Farm, a rural oasis home to rare English breeds of goats and pigs in the Isle of Dogs.

Londoners will be able to try the new Kopparberg Black on draught.

Brand spokesperson Rob Salvesen said: “The KopparMountain experience is all about capturing the best feelings of being outside, when we’re free to roam and enjoy time spent with friends without restrictions.”

The Kopparberg limited pop-up runs until August 18 between 2pm and 11pm daily. Tickets, including two free drinks, are available for £8 at eventbrite.com.
