Into the wild... at Wilderness Festival

Expect a banquet for all the senses at this festival of arts, music and food

Fancy a journey in the wild? The curators of Lovebox and Secret Garden Party bring you Wilderness Festival - a rich banquet for all the senses where you can indulge, relax, learn, escape and party.

This is one for those seeking a more intimate and creative festival experience - where all the arts are celebrated in equally enchanting measure against a tranquil backdrop of wild British woods and lakes.

Music for the ears will be provided by: Mexican musical duo Rodrigo e Gabriela, loved for their speedy, acoustic guitar playing; Spanish-English five-piece electronic Crystal Fighters; Temper Trap for those anthemic summer tracks; and rising soul star Lianna Le Havas among others.

As in previous years, foodies will be thrilled to know that grub takes a central role at this festival. With nightly three course communal feasts in the banqueting tent and Yotam Ottolenghi headlining for the food pack, what could be better? He will be joined by a stellar cast including: Michelin starred chef Fergus Henderson, the founder of St John restaurant; nature loving Valentine Warner who will forage for ingredients within a three mile radius of the festival; and icing on the cake will be a Moroccan souk dining from the delicious Moro.

Film will also be big on the agenda with Future Cinema bringing their roaringly successful Bugsy Malone experience to the table and don't miss a screening of La Haine with a live score by the Asian Dub Foundation.

Those wanting to get stuck in can take cooking workshops, get serious with debates from Intelligence Squared, philosophise with The School of Life, go horse-riding or try out some wine tasting.

Late night debauchery will be provided by the Old Vic Tunnels with their Midnight Masked Ball, Rumpus and Secret Garden Party amongst others.

Those wanting to just relax can check into the Wilderness Spa, the ultimate treat for your mind among the beautiful lakes - think hot tubs, champagne and massages and swimming...

Want to bring the kids? This year the family area is even better, including laughter therapy, Guerilla Geography and a massive cricket match on the lawn with all the Pimms-style trimmings.
